Eriksdale is Open For Business!
The Rural Municipality of Eriksdale Community Development Corporation (CDC) has implemented a new program of Economic Development Cash Incentives designed to stimulate and support new or expanding businesses and new home construction in the village and the RM of Eriksdale. In addition, the Rural Municipality of Eriksdale is offering commercial lots located downtown on Station Lane for only $1.00.
“Eriksdale has a lot going for it.” said John Wainwright, Chairperson of the CDC. “With our location at the junction of Highway #6 and #68, our pristine lakefront, and our hospital, we see great opportunity for growth. The CDC wants to get the word out that Eriksdale is open for business.”
Starting in February, 2010, the CDC is offering cash incentives of up to 100% of incremental municipal taxes levied for new or expanded businesses, new or expanded multi- family residential developments, and new single family houses and duplexes. “We want to encourage and support new and existing residents to build new homes, expand or start new businesses, and live the incredible lifestyle that Eriksdale offers.” said Wainwright.
